Common questions
- I just moved in. Should I change the locks or rekey them?
- Rekeying is usually the better value: the locks stay, the internal pins change, and every old key stops working. Replace the hardware when it is worn, damaged, or you want a different type of lock.
- Can you make all my doors use one key?
- Yes, as long as the locks are compatible. Keying alike is a common request after a move and makes a house far easier to live with.
- Do you install smart locks?
- Yes. We can fit a keypad or smart deadbolt and make sure it is properly aligned in the door, which is where most smart locks fail.
- What will you ask for?
- Photo ID and proof you live there or own the property before we open a door or change a lock.
